How to efficiently pass through security...

kontrolabezpieczeństwaIn order to ensure an adequate level of safety and security in air transport all passengers and their baggage are subject to security checks.
Under EU law "control" means the application of technical or other means to identify and / or detect prohibited items.

List of items permitted and prohibited for carriage in the air transport

Screening of passengers is carried out using mainly:
- Manual control;
- Control by using gate metal-detector.

Manual control is carried out in such a way to ensure, as far as possible that the person is not carrying prohibited items.
If the gate metal detector reacts to an alarm signal, remove the cause of the alarm. For this purpose, the passenger is subjected to manual inspection or that person is subject to re-screening using gate metal-detector.

Screening of cabin baggage is carried out mainly by using one of the following methods:
- Manual control;
- Control by x-ray equipment or explosives detection systems.

Tips on how to smoothly proceed through security:

- Preparing for the control passenger should place in the containers on a conveyor belt of x-ray machine any metal objects such as keys, coins, mobile phones, watches, belts for trousers with metal clasps;

- During going to the control, plastic bag with liquids in containers should be removed  from hand luggage and placed in a container with other objects (transportation of liquids in hand luggage)

- electronic devices such as laptop, camera, etc.  should be placed on the x-ray machine conveyor belt separately
- outer garment such as jacket, coat, should be placed on the x-ray machine conveyor belt separately
