Ladies and gentlemen,
in addition to the announcement regarding the October sitting, we would like to inform you that we plan to carry out the whole October sitting, in accordance with the previously planned schedule. However, in case Warsaw is announced to be in the red zone, part of the sitting will have to be canceled. In this case, the canceled part of the sitting will be carried out at a later date (most likely in November). Candidates who start taking their exams in the first week of the October sitting will be able to continue taking exams in the new scheduled dates and this will be treated as the October sitting exams. Reservations for the days when the sitting will not take place will remain valid in the additional dates. Candidates for whom the October sitting is the last sitting will be allowed to finish the exams in the new dates.
Please be informed that, as announced in the exam schedule for 2020, October examination sitting will be held on 13-23 October. The sitting will last from 8:00 until 16:00.
Candidates with reservations are welcome until 12.00. Candidates without reservations will be invited to register themselves from 12.30, provided that there are some seats available in the examination room.
The sanitary regime and additional rules which were introduced because of the pandemic are still applicable.
We kindly remind you to cover your mouth and nose and keep the distance between each other. We would also like to draw your attention to the fact that on the last day of the examination sitting a lot of candidates is willing to take their exams. This is associated with a long waiting time in the queue, and in many cases, inability to enter the examination room.
The possible inclusion of Warsaw in the red zone should be taken into account, in which case the October session will be interrupted.

We would like to remind that currently examination sessions are held in accordance with the applicable sanitary regime, and the functioning of the Polish CAA depends on the epidemiological situation.We would advise for careful planning and taking the exams, taking into account the possibility of interruptions in the functioning of the Office and possible difficulties in passing the exams.

In the Official Journal of the Republic of Poland under item 1665 a Regulation of the Council of Ministers of September 28, 2020 on air traffic ban has been published. It prolongs the international flights ban till October 13, 2020. The Regulation enters into force on September 30, 2020.

In the Official Journal of the Republic of Poland under item 1587 a Regulation of the Council of Ministers of September 15, 2020 on air traffic ban has been published. It prolongs the international flights ban till September 29, 2020. The Regulation enters into force on September 16, 2020.
The flights ban refers to international flights of civil aircraft to airports entered to the civil airports register and airfields on the airfield list of the Republic of Poland from the following airports:
1) Belize;
2) Bosnia and Herzegovina;
3) Montenegro;
4) the Federative Republic of Brazil;
5) the Kingdom of Bahrain;
6) the Kingdom of Spain;
7) the State of Israel;
8) the State of Qatar;
9) the State of Kuwait;
10) the State of Libya;
11) the Argentine Republic;
12) the Republic of Chile;
13) the French Republic;
14) the Republic of Guatemala;
15) the Republic of Honduras;
16) the Republic of Iraq;
17) the Republic of Colombia;
18) the Republic of Costa Rica;
19) the Republic of Lebanon;
20) the Republic of Maldives;
21) the Republic of Moldova;
22) the Republic of Namibia;
23) the Republic of Panama;
24) the Republic of Paraguay;
25) the Republic of Peru;
26) the Republic of Suriname;
27) the Republic of Cabo Verde;
28) the United States of America;
29) the Plurinational State of Bolivia;
30) the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.
The above-mentioned ban does not refer to aircraft performing international flights:
at the order or with a permit of the Prime Minister; mentioned in Art. 76 item 1 of the Act of July 3, 2002 – Aviation Law; performed for the needs of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland and for the needs of foreign armed forces performing tasks on the territory of the Republic of Poland as defined in the Act of September 23, 1999 on the rules of the stay of foreign armed forces on the territory of the Republic of Poland and the rules of their movement through that territory (the Official Journal of the Republic of Poland of 2018, item 2110); chartered before the entrance into force of this Regulation at the order of a tour operator or an entity acting at its order; from airports located in states which notified to Poland solutions guaranteeing that only passengers with a negative SARS-CoV-2 test are allowed on board of aircraft.The Minister for foreign affairs publishes in their Official Journal an announcement with a list of states which notified to the Republic of Poland the introduction of solutions mentioned in paragraph 5 above.

In the Official Journal of the Republic of Poland under item 1372 a Regulation of the Council of Ministers of August 11, 2020 on flights ban has been published.

State Safety Plan for 2020-2023 (KPB 2020) – 4th edition, an attachment to the Polish State Safety Programme for Civil Aviation. The document identifies areas of threats / hazards and actions that will be taken by supervised organizations and CAA.
The implementation of these actions will ensure effective risk management and secure the acceptable level of safety. The constantly growing passenger traffic, and thus the development of civil aviation, poses many challenges to aviation business, hence the implementation of the tasks set out in the National Safety Plan 2020-2023 should be a priority for all of us.
