International Agreements

The texts of governmental agreements on, inter alia, air transport are available on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland. In order to find a definite agreement on air services, please enter a given third country as a State / Party to the agreement and in the “Subject” cell, select “Transport and communication”.

Agreement between the European Community and the Swiss Confederation on Air Transport, signed in Luxembourg on June 21, 1999.

Multilateral Agreement between the European Community and its Member States, the Republic of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Bulgaria, the Republic of Croatia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, the Republic of Iceland, the Republic of Montenegro, the Kingdom of Norway, Romania, the Republic of Serbia and the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo on the establishment of a European Common Aviation Area (ECAA), signed in Luxembourg on June 9, 2006

Horizontal Agreements
Horizontal agreements are concluded by the European Union with third states. Their purpose is to bring bilateral agreements on air transport concluded between the EU Member States and a definite third state to European Union law. Negotiations are conducted by the European Commission.
